Are you following Jesus?
Written by Drackmas on .
Supernatural bible changes. Mandela Effect. Are you following Jesus? Take up your cross daily and follow Him!
Would you accept everything the world has to offer but loose your very soul in exchange?
The white picket fence. Dream job. A "good" life. Everyone is accountable for their own lives and family can't accept Jesus for you. Friends can't do it for you. Neither can strangers that are still concerned about your salvation even if you aren't aware, aren't paying attention, or even if you don't care about it. You can't take money with you. The cars are left behind. Even good looks mean nothing when it has nothing to do with if you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. Sickness and death only becomes a concern for the lost because if you were saved it's only the next chapter in your relationship with God, Jesus, and a new time to spend in fellowship with the saints that passed on before you did.
The wages of sin is death. Even one is enough. Adam and Eve committing their first sin was enough. On our own there is nothing we can do to redeem ourselves of the sins that we have committed. Of the sins we continue to commit. Scriptures clearly tells the struggle saying that "I do what I should not do and don't do what I should"..."the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak." Even the disciples that mentored under Jesus struggled to their last breath with the constant struggle of sinning. Even after being saved through Jesus Christ it is not something we can stop because none of us are perfect. If so there would have been no need for Jesus to die on the cross for us having lived a perfect life without committing one sin.
If you died today do you know if you would be saved?
Would He say welcome home my faithful servant?
...or would He say "Depart from me... For I never knew you."
Do you know...that you know... That you know... That you know?
If not it's time to stop playing around with the life that He gave you to live. Spend every moment growing in your relationship with Him and helping others to also be able to enter the Kingdom of God with us once this is all over.
I would hope to see everyone with us when tribulations are over. A life in fellowship with others and being with Jesus Christ. I can only imagine that we'd eventually be able to talk with God just as freely as Adam and Eve did in the Garden of Eden.
The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. If you are saved and not helping trying to reach those around us... Why? Your testimony and witness to someone may be the difference between someone getting saved and being in the Kingdom of God...
...or cast out into darkness forever separated from God.
Just something to think about.
